I'm not much of an engineer, but it would seem to me that the diagonal pillars in the pad would tend to throw the gun up into your cheek. I woulda thought they should have been oriented the other way

Drew, does the name seem to be of the person in the picture? Also, where did the card come from? I couldn't find the name in the 1922 ATA members book, but I would look in more years if I had a state or area to concentrate on.

Thank you Bill, and yes I believe the name (which I can't read and so am unable to search in Sporting Life) is the shooter.
