The letter states Single Trigger and the gun appears to be a Parker trigger. What is the concern?
A one screw trigger would be first gen and a 2 screw trigger would be second gen.

EDIT: After some judicious cleaning of the exposed trigger blade visible on the left side of the gun I found a circle with a "P" in it so I guess the primary search question is answered. Thanks all....

With the gun being made in 1925 would that indicate a first or second gen. trigger or must we examine for one or two screws ? Thanks for the input.

Some early guns had a stamp on the trigger that was a pair of "crossed Ps". That is about it. The ONLY maker of trigger that I have ever seen that had the actual name of it on it is the Miller.

Here are a couple of pics of my 1936 VHE Skeet gun with the second generation Parker SST stamped with PB on the trigger blade, or is it Pt ?, and with the two screws identifying it as the second generation.
