Default Macon Gunstocks?

Anyone have any experience getting a gun restocked, checked and fitted there? They seem to have a broad selection of wood.

I have not used them. I have heard they are cheap and if your restocking a rainy day gun they are serviceable. They would probably be no ones choice for a fairly high grade gun.

There was a long thread about the good and bad of Macon Gunstocks on doublegunshop.com a while back. Try searching on that website and you may find more information than you need.

STAY AWAY!!!! Nothing but bad experiences personally with several stocks people have provided me from them to fit.

Keep in mind that if you are talking about a Parker. There is NO off the shelf solution since every stock and gun is different.

I normally would not openly speak negatively about many companies, but I just want to try and save you some trouble. When EVERY experience I have with something from them is bad, there is something wrong.
