Smile Private Duck Hunting Spot

I thought I would take some time today and go to my private Duck Hunting spot. It is so private that the Ducks don't even come.I jumped three nice mallards on the way in but with my shooting abilities they were safe.I go here to climb the hill over looking the area and just reflect on how great it is to have this spot all to myself.I hope you enjoy the pictures. Thomas

I've got a 10ga. that would work there just fine.
Sweet spot Thomas.
The only thing I see missing is us and some ducks.

Pretty spot indeed. My guess is that there might be a trout or two in that river that would eagerly take a fly in the warmer months.

It looks like a pretty nice place for a scoped rifle too.

Thomas, a place like that almost makes me want to move there. Then I remember about all that white junk that falls from the sky and I come to my senses.

Smile

The picture of the VH Parker in the third photo some of you may remember is the one that I offered for sale as a project back in Jan 2 2012 and when I purchased it back in the 80's it had a Oregon Hunting Lic. inserted in the stock from 1921 with the name of Rudolph Clark and had a bulge in the barrel or as Mr Murphy commented, had I checked the barrel for a ground Hog or Richard Flanders chimed in with it looks like one of the Anaconda just ate a pig barrels.I felt so sorry for the gun that I put one of the extra barrels I had laying around and they fit like a glove. I now use it as my Duck Gun and Its starting to come out of its shell after that horrible humilation.I believe someone had even offered to take up a collection to help but I don't think that will be neccessary for the old girl is proud as a peacock just being out in the field were it belongs. If you like you can go back to Jan 2 2012 and see the pictures of the old girl with the bulge in the barrel under the for sale section.
