Default 28 Ga. Barrels from Tony

I just got my 28 ga. 28" ic & mod. 0 frame barrels from Tony- Galazan and took them to my gunsmith, Carter's gun shop and with very little work, they snapped right on. I will be shooting these barrels this weekend. They did a great job on these barrels. Thank you Tony. Frank

Frank, This is indeed good news. How is the fit at the dolls head?

It's lovely when you have to take metal off at the doll's head instead of putting metal on.

How do these Galazan barrels affect the balance and feel of the gun as compared to how it is with the original barrels?

I thought thesze 28 ga barrels were nolonger available from Galazan? I would have bought a VHE 20 ga recently if I new I could get a set of new barrels for this small frame, please let me know if you can still buy them, thanks Dale Z!

Frank:
Did you fit these barrels to an original Parker or a repro? If original, how did the forearm fit up? I've had my Galazan 28-bore barrels for about five months, fitted to an original VH gun, and I am very pleased.

Dale: Galazan has "withdrawn the offer" to make more of these.

Best, Kensal

Guys, the gun is having a recoil pad put on it now, 13 1/2" pull is a little short. As soon as I get it back, I will post pics and let you know how it shoots. The forearm was fitted by my gunsmith with little work and fits fine. This was an original Parker 20 ga. "o" frame. Can't wait to shoot it but I wanted it done right. Thanks, Frank P.S. I ordered these barrels in Feb. '11 and well worth the wait.
