Default New Parker user ammo question

Hello,

I recently purchased my first Parker, a 12 gauge Trojan from 1914 sn#(167718) all original. I was wondering what be the recommended shell for hunting pheasant would be?

Thanks,
Andrew

A 1 oz. or 1 1/8 oz. of 5s at 1100 fps will do the trick. If you don't reload, RST will be your friend.

Most likely your Trojan has 2-5/8" chambers. You can shoot 2.5" or 2.75" shells from it.
