Thanks for the information! The overall condition is pretty good and looking through the bores it looks like a mirror finish end to end. I will be posting some pictures shortly.

How is the trigger guard and the frame was it damaged. From what I see this repair/ restock will far exceed the value of the gun it, The comb has had a riser spliced on too. Good luck hope you are able to shoot the old gal someday.

Are these guns fairly common then? If not worth repairing, it may just end up getting sold as is. All the pieces and parts are with it and in good condition, just the stock was broken about 65 years ago and then stored after that.
