Default Introduction

I'm a bird hunter enamored with double guns. A great uncle gave me a double-barreled popgun when I was five. It was loaded with corks on strings. It wasn’t long before I cut the strings and had actual projectiles. That little plastic gun set a course for the rest of my life. His brother, my maternal granddaddy, had a G-grade Parker. The gun went to his only son but I made sure to get a Parker of my own. I’m a bird hunter but really spend a lot of time with ducks so I got a 30” F/F Parker VHE. This gun has taken everything from a banded greenwing drake to a fine black drake and a couple of tundra swans.

My Papa with a G-grade Parker and a Francis Marion turkey (date unknown)

Great pictures and welcome to the forum. I think many of us contracted the Parker "bug" from family.

That South Carolina bird looks to be from the 1930's? Please register with your real name and join in to the forum discussions. David

I see now that everyone uses their real names. Can a Admin fix this for me?

Yes....

If you can post your real name - or PM me your real name, I'll get you set...

Best to you,

John
