Default Old Quail Wagon

One of Dad's old friends gave this to him years ago. It needs some work, but I am hoping to get it going at some point for quail hunting around the place.

Pretty cool, Mills. That would look great fixed up and painted. You could pull it around with a small tractor or 4 wheeler.

The one thing Dad did do to it is convert it from mule drawn to vehicle drawn. I figure even if people don't ride in it, it will be good for dogs, water and stuff.

Mules would be pretty neat, but would be a lot more work

I have a pal that does a wagon like that, it carries extra dogs, and is used as a chuckwagon for field lunches and dinners. They pull it with a Kawasaki Mule.

Being pulled by a vehicle would be my last choice. I would much prefer to have a UTV over a vehicle. It's a great project for you and your son to work on. Take your time and get it just right, then give me a call for the maiden voyage Please !

Jeep, would be great. Crawler gears in jeeps are awesome for this type of application.

Oh come on Mills. Mules for sure, the four legged type not Kawasaki. Nothing beats the quiet pace of a team; creaking leather harness, the plod of hooves, an occasional snort, and perhaps a fart or two. I know, I had a molly mule that tooted with every step it seemed. Sweet music compared to that of a four stroke engine. You can even hear the dog bells while under way. Besides, those old Parkers might thank you for taking them back to a time where they belong.
