It would help to know the serial number and grade of the gun to know if there is info on your gun.

29490 is a Plain Twist, Top Action, probably a grade 0 or 1, capped pistol grip with 30-inch 10 gauge barrels.
And there are surviving records on your gun to support a research letter. But, being such a low grade it is likely your gun was originally sent to a hardware store and it is very unlikely there will be any reference to a person. But you can spend the $100 for a nicely done research letter on your gun. .
