Default As the OP says, “Uh oh!!”

Some of you may have seen this on the DGS site. This looks like a one-and-done failure. First time I’ve seen a lug fall off.

There’s a thread about this in general discussions.

Never seen the barrel lug fall off . But as I told you before you bought it the first time I shot the PH 8 I removed the forend to take the barrels off and put in the case . And when I did the forend lug dropped off and hit my foot . Yeah I was wearing sandles like Patton lols ! But it went to Breck and was better than new when he was done .

I had a fore-end lug come off of the 12g lifter I used at the Fall Southern. It went from “Hmm, this feels loose” to “”This is supposed to be attached to the gun.” In minutes. 😂🤣

I saw that set of barrels when I was at Breck's home once. They were very nice, indeed.

Stan, did you have to send the whole gun or just the barrels?

I have repaired two such cases of loose lugs on Parker guns. And the age wasn't a factor with one being a late TL DHE 12, and the other a TL hammer gun. In both cases the tinning on the solder joint was lacking.
