Default GH 16 Gauge 1897

Located and secured a 1897 16 gauge GH today. I had the Library Manager grab the pistol grip and violently shake it left and right for any looseness. It passed the test. The shotgun isn't listed in the Serialization Book but the barrels are 28" and are toughing at the muzzle. It has clean bores and retains nice Damascus pattern. The stock is better than decent and has the "Dog's Head" plate. With tax puts the shotgun at $1618.11, a fair price IMO. Check out the photos and "Blast Away!"

This seems to be where I'm finding myself lately, landing on 16's. That's a nice one for sure! Great price to boot.
