I have never seen anything but someone's "screen name" appear on the PGCA forum. Even if you originally used your real name when you first started posting (as a PGCA Member) once you take on a screen name, your newly adopted screen name will appear on all of the posts you ever made as a PGCA Member, even those earliest posts you made.

When I look at this thread you started I see the threads name and below it I see your real name. When I open the thread I see your scree name. If I click on your screenname I see your real name. Why it's set up this way, only John Dunkle can answer that.

I like to look at the screen name if I don’t already know who the poster is. I would suspect John would tell us not to post anything we wouldn’t be proud of.

I always assumed that the lack of anonymity was purposeful and that it was a part of membership by design. Yes, we could choose a sobriquet or nickname, but we would not be anonymous (you can see every poster's name by "thanking" them or checking their profile). Each person would be responsible for his/her comments. Frankly, I think that's an important part of why I appreciate this Association. I hope this does not change.
