Default Want to Buy Sear Spring

Hi, I am in need of a sear spring for a 1917 Single barrel trap gun. I understand they are different than a double gun. Any sources out there?

You might try a PM to Brian Dudley. He sometimes has spare parts available.

Just out of curiosity, Brian, is a sear spring something that breaks often and is it difficult to replace, i.e. need an experienced gunsmith such as yourself to install?

Thanks. Scott Hanes

These late style sear springs usually do not break.
They are very simple to install. If you can handle removing the action from the stock, then you can do the spring.
