Default RGS/AWS Shoot

RGS/AWS is hosting the New England Sporting Clays Championship at Addieville East Farm on June 23rd. This is a great time with fun targets and a nice meal after the shoot. Though not a specific Parker or Fox shoot, both of these iconic makers as well as many other of the American classics will be well represented. This is a fun shoot for a good cause, and your registration includes a one year membership to this great organization. If you are in area, I highly recommend you come for a fun day with like-minded individuals. Please see attachment for event flyer.

Don and I were at the inaugural event last year, it was well run and a lot of fun. Great targets and a majority of shooters with side by sides. We will be back for this one for sure. I’m dusting off a Parker 28 for this year. They raffled off a Benelli 28 ga and a Colt Python last year; I am sure they will have great things this year too. Come on down to Rhode Island!

We have 40+ folks signed up for next Sunday in Rhode Island. Come on, you know at least one shotgun is still uncleaned from Hausmann’s. Bring it out to Addiville and shoot it one more day before you actually clean it. I confirmed we will have a new Colt Python.357 to raffle off, among other cool items. Hope to see you there.

Steve / Don
I need some help / advice on the RGS shoot.
A lot of projects going on with the boys so I checked in with the RGS coordinator and found out I could get some tickets the day of the shoot. So all set right. The 16 gauge hammer gun was ready and enough shells where reloaded.
I mentioned to my wife that depending on the evolving daily schedules I was going the the RGS shoot that day.
She paused and said that was nice however in a very curt tone said so that’s the way you want to celebrate our 45 wedding anniversary.
As hard as I tried to convince her that she could have fun following me around she did not buy it.
Ideas?

Get her a nice 28 ga and bring her along. Open bar, we will announce it is in honor of your anniversary. Seriously, I think you should stay home and spoil her. I probably would have lasted more than 27 years with mine if I listened more. Congratulations on 45 years!
