Default 28 Gauge Debut

Today was my first hunt with my newly acquired VH 28 gauge. It sure is a pleasure to shoot and carry such a light gun since I usually use several pretty heavy hammer guns. Next month I will try to harvest a few Arizona Dusky Grouse with the little 28, fingers crossed.

I love the 28’s for all of the reasons you do, plus more reasons that accumulate with every day I hunt or shoot with them.

Enjoy!!

I really enjoyed shooting my 28 this opening day. 28 and 16 are my two favorite gauges, currently.

Beautiful pictures, thanks for sharing. I'm thinking about toting a 28 this weekend.

What a nice gun! I’ve taken more birds with a 28 than any other gauge.

Great pic. 28 ga is my favorite as well. Skeet and upland birds. Can't beat it, especially as we get older!
