I you had such a set of 00 frame barrels, the owner of a 00 frame gun would likely pay you a higher price for them than an owner of an 0 frame gun. The 0 frame guy would still have a hacked up gun with the 00 barrels installed. The 00 guy would have a wonderful two barrel set that is not "hacked up".

I would suspect there is difference in width and height of the breech end of the barrels and the 00-frame barrels should be narrower and lower than the width and height of the breech balls on the 0-frame.

nothing will be hacked up. this is a theoretical question. I was curious as this discussion came up this past weekend. But Mr Murphy thank you for your response.
per the TPS there is no difference in height of breach balls or anywhere else except for width across the balls. my biggest ? was about being able to get the gun to fire. |

John,
The 1/16" or (.062) is the total differance between the two frame sizes. The reality is that each pin would be off-set half that distance or 1/32" (.0325). I can not believe that an off-set hit of .0325 would not result in a 100% primer ignition. |

My comment was only addressing the value of a set of orphan 00 frame barrels, which would be worth thousands more to an owner of a 00 frame gun than to the owner of an 0 frame gun. Hard for you guys to believe, but I have never owned a 00 frame gun. However, I'm looking.
