Default Parker vs LC Smith five stand events at the Spring Southern 2019

Every body,

Sorry this is so delayed.

Again for 2019 there will be the 20 ga and 16 ga challenge events at the Spring Southern at Deep River Sporting Clays. The 16 ga and 20 ga events will again be conducted on that Thursday (I will post dates later). Again each gauge on its own respective five stand, as was done last year.

In addition there will be a 10 ga challenge. This new event will take place on Wednesday from 1 pm to 5pm. Same format as the other two.

Again trophies for the top five scores for each gauge.

New for this year I will be adding trophies/ awards for the following:
1. HOA for cumulative qualifying score for all five events: (10, 16,20, challenge and hammer challenge) (you have to shoot all five to qualify for this specific award/ trophy and we will use your top qualifying score from each event)
2. The above will be for open (age 21 to 60), veteran (61 -70), super vet (over 70)

As of note I will not be attending this years Spring Southern. Rick Hemingway has agreed to take charge of this and I know it will be professionally run and well managed. Much better than I could ever do.

I will be posting the rules and info to both our site and the smith site in the next week. I also hope to get a written thing into the Parker Pages before the dead line.

All my best. And go team Parker. Shoot well boys and bring home some wins.

John

Eight bore was done about 4 years ago. (Smith vs Parker)

We did a all encompassing eight bore event last year Sunday afternoon.

It was a lot of fun.

I would be open to a 410 as Rick did one at the Fall shoot. I just don't know how many folks are going to bring out their 410s and shoot them.

The 10 ga event is in response to requests for the past two years. A lot of folks wanted this one to happen.
Fortunately Rick is willing and so too is Mr Kempfler to allow us to start on Wed.

I enjoy shooting my 410 but it's a CSM Fox not a Parker
