Dorothy and I arrived just after 9 yesterday and met up with many dear old friends in spite of the intermittant rain. There was a lot of shooting going on both on the SC course as well as practice shooting on the 5-stand at the dove field.

It’s almost 10:30 and we’ll be driving back there for today’s activities.
Bringing a flashlight today for viewing guns in the dim light in the tents.
Spoke with Kevin and he told me you may not come this year. That’s too bad.

PS… guns are changing habds at a fast pace.

Weather turned out to be pretty nice today. Shot one round of 12 gauge and had a 42 of 48. For me that's great.
It was nice to see Dean again!
Back at the room now resting up for the HOF event.

Morning Bill. Weather was bad on Thursday and everything was a swamp. Rained again on Thursday night, but rain was gone by morning, but the swamp was worse. Friday and Saturday weather was really nice. Things slowly dried out. Lots of guns per the norm. Shooters I talked to said less shooters then last year, but more tent activity. As already mentioned the tents were dark dark. Because of the rain most side flaps were down and many vendors I believe had difficulty being able to secure the flaps on their own as you needed a ladder and bungie cords to make it happen. Saw a lotta folks using their phone flashlight to look at guns. IMO sales were less then last year, but that might have been just around the Fox Booth where I hung out most of the time with Kevin. Horrible rain this morning as I'm still in Sanford.

Enjoyed meeting you Tom. Still have more Fox guns than any other shotguns.
It was nice to get a compliment on my 1916 XE from Tom Kidd.
You and Kevin did well at the AH Fox booth".

As Mr. Buck would relate as to the " Mallard front" it's the Canadians, the wild ancient
turkeys, and staring at the wood ducks...
