WOW! Look at the neck and chest on that stud!!
I'm out the door right now on my way to deer camp in VT. I'll be in the woods while the stars are still twinkling in the morning... opening day at last. |

Too warm in VT for the traditional still hunting I like to do.
Saturday evening at about 5 minutes before legal quitting time a huge doe and her year and a half old daughter walked by me at about twenty yards. Fun to watch... Vermont has an antlered deer only law except for bow and primitive weapons seasons. Roy, the dairy farmer down the road from camp took a nice young buck this afternoon. I'll head back up there again on Friday night. |

I'll be on them soon enough.
This was my 197 lb. buck from '03 in VT. As big as he was he was as good as a 1 1/2 year old spike. . |
