Not a parker, but saw this today at the Panhandle Plains museum in Canyon, TX and thought yall would like it.

TR liked good guns. I owned his Francotte 12 for a while. Presented to him by Kaiser Wilhelm II.

The Kaiser presented TR with a Belgian gun? I’m sure there’s a story behind that one.

Kensal, I read the story of TR's Francotte maybe in last year's DGJ. By chance were you the one selling or the one who purchased it and wrote the article? I too have the same Francotte, great shooter it is!

I'm the bloke who owned, then sold it. At least through a Morphy auction about 6 years ago. Glad you're its caretaker!

Kensal, I'm not it's caretaker, I only have one like TRs. I'll send if I can find the article in the DGJ, then I'll know who the owner is.

Sorry for my misunderstanding. I wrote the story about TR's Francotte during the time I owned it. The story is in the Summer 2012 issue of DGJ. Last I heard, the gun is in a PA collector's safe.
