Default VHE 28 in SD

It's such a pleasure carrying my magic wand here on the prairies.

Especially with a 40mph tailwind. She's quick to the bird.

I sat on a gun show table for days next to the table that displayed that gun for sale. I did not take the bait because I already owned a couple of V Grade 28s. At the time, I foolishly didn't recognize that a couple of inches more barrel would translate into "I need to own that gun". At least Daryl kept his 28 from being sold out of town. Have a nice pheasant, guys.

The fellow Daryl got that gun from offered me one two or three years ago . And I’d agreed to take it , but the guy he was going to obtain it from renigged on the deal . I would like to have had the gun but I’m not sad about not having to write the check for it . And I’d not have been intrested in acquiring one if I hadn’t shot Daryl’s

They are truly a swift bolt of lightning... at least the ones I've been lucky enough to own.

I had an 0 frame VH 26” that was a death ray on quail but Daryl’s 30” reaches out a good ways and smites down clay targets . Of this I know from personal experience .

I have now been shooting my first and favorite 28 gauge Parker for 64 years. I love telling that story. What a gun.

Another member and I shoot 2-3 times a week. We aren't really shooting FITASC, per se, but at the 9 targets on each parcour. We laughed when we look in the bucket at all the 11/8oz 12 bore hulls, and there we are shooting our 28 pea shooters. Yesterday, Allen shot 3 rounds with his 000 frame 410. If I could find ammo, I'd try my Winchester 9mm.
