Default 1890 CH cheek engravings

I've enjoyed these scenes since I was a boy...

A great engraving period.

Engraving like that has caused many a dove to fly over my head unnoticed.

The early hammerless guns are my favorite. I owned this 1890 CH a few years back, but ended up selling it because the barrels were toast.

The later dogs always look too "cartoony" IMO.

Here is my 1891 CH 12ga 30" #1 frame. Not perfect condition but pretty nice in my opinion.

I'd take that condition any day...especially on those Bernard barrels.
