Default Is The Old Site Gone For Good?

I thought it was going to stay up for a while after it was deactivated, and direct us over here?

Good Morning Jim; I believe if you go to "Home " on this site and scroll down you will see " Archives " ,click there and you can view the old sites topics ,I don't know if this is permanent or just temporary ! Russ

I believe it is gone permanently for posting purposes at least. We can still access the old site for research etc. through the "Archives" link here on this website (as Russ has stated) however, it appears that the old site was backed up a few weeks ago and anything posted more recently may be gone forever.

Hi Jim,

Hope you were able to get out to Kansas last fall and do some Pheasant hunting.

The Old BBS is off line now, as John has mentioned the old software was showing its age. We had a DB failure 3 days ago that the vendor is currently working on. To say we limped across the finish line would be a major understatement We may be able too make one last backup of it for the archive section on the new site. Was there a particular post you were interested in, or just the complete set of posts for research?

Greg...

Greg (and others),

Thanks for the replies. I wasn't looking for anything in particular, just wanted to make sure it was really gone and that the new site is the place to be now. I had expected it to still be up for a while after it was closed for posting, with a redirect over here, but I understand the deal now. Ya'll really timed it right! Looking forward to enjoying the new site. Thanks for all your hard work!

Jim
