Most of the guns in last year's auction were encrusted in rust and sold for prices that allowed for refinishing. Some of us got great deals including the buyer who scored the DHE .410 that was probably erroneously described as an upgrade.

You will notice that the rest of the gun does not match in condition the barrel. The story I was told was that it was purchased and the barrel was left in its wrapping and when removed had fallen into that condition.

A friend of mine bought that gun last 'whenever if was', and Mitch Shultze did a great job bringing it back.

Yeah, Edgar, that 28 was a pretty good deal also. Local guys bought many of the guns.
