Default Woodcock are back in NH

My Llewellin, Cody, pointed two woodcock today in Central New Hampshire, Lakes Region. The picture is not of his point today, I did not have a camera with me

Been singing adjacent to our home the past week or two in Upstate NY. Not nearly as many as 20 years ago, but they're here.

We put up 4 in the last 2 weeks at our preserve in lower New York.

Woodcock are in Mass also. Sophie is finding them in the quail fields at Myles standish and down at Crane.

At Crane in Rowley/Ipswich ??

There are lots of woodcock there in the early spring and late fall. Oops...
