Default Greetings

Hello Everyone,

Thanks for letting me join. I am the proud owner of my Granddads 1920 Grade V 12 ga.

I've had it for years after my Dad passed away and enjoyed shooting trap with my 2 sons with it.

I learned a lot about the year and grade from this site and look forward to learning more and hopefully meeting some of you.

I am a dedicated SxS shooter and have newer guns to use so the Parker lasts another 103 years!

Welcome Dal !

May I recommend that you join the Parker Gun Collectors Association as an Annual Member.

You will receive many benefits including the Members Only section of our Forum which you can't see now, but they will enable to buy and sell all sorts of Parker Gun and other sporting arms and paraphenalia. You will also receive our quarterly forty-eight page full color, glossy "Newsletter of the Parker Gun Collectors Association" titled Parker Pages. This publication alone is worth the meager annual cost of $40.

Hope to see more of you. Where do you live?

Hello Dean,
Thanks for the welcome and yes, just joined PGCA - looks like a good cause.

I live in Columbia County Upstate NY my entire life and close to retirement so I hope to have more time next spring to enjoy hobbies including shooting.

Tried sporting clays a few times and loved it so looking to get out there more often.

Thanks again
Dal

Yes, Sporting Clays has been described as “golf with a shotgun”

I wish you a fun and meaningful retirement. Don’t waste a minute of it - in one way or another things may change sooner than planned.
Several of our members are in Upstate NY.

Parkers and retirement are a great mix! Enjoy both.

Com’on, Randy, you’re far too young to retire anyway. 😇
