One of our members does indeed repair cases. He'll chime in here soon I'm sure.

I had a boot repairman fix up my last LOM case. He did a nice job and I was happy. I would look for a shoe repairman in your area. Dave

The name you're looking for is PGCA Life Member Kevin McCormack. He's done a couple of mine - nice work too.

Default shoe repair

Holeshot,
Thanks for the reply. I have not had any luck here in Maine with shoe repair folks- unless the work fits on one of their sewing machines they do not do it. I cannot find anyone that hand stiches.

Don't ever take one of these cases to a boot or shoe man, I've seen wayyyy more of them absolutely wrecked by these kinds of repair people than ones that have had a nice job done. The days of the old time shoe repairmen being true craftsmen are over for the most part. Kevin is the man for the job, he's got one of mine working on it now.

I guess my shoe repairman is from the old school and has done repairs on LOM cases for decades. And best yet he charged me 40.00 to fix it up. The quality of work was excellent.
