Default 12ga & 20ga reproductions

Question on my two Parker repro. I have a 12ga & 20ga DHE, why does the 12ga have engraving on the top rib and the 20ga does not?

Thanks

Are you talking about the matting or is it words engraved on the rib?

Can you post pictures of each?

Just a production change. Whether a Repro has the engraving or not doesn't really mean anything.

...and then there were a few orders for just a set of barrels. Maybe it was one of these.

Some had the Makers Mark on the rib and some had them on the barrel tube.
