Default Charles Parker Vises- and a Bull Press?

Recent garage sale/barn sale recon trip developed some fine stuff! I now have a saw filing vise, as shown on page 41 of the olde catalogue- some traces of the leather padding remained, along with some rust- I also have a project vise to braze back together- a 00 as shown on page 29 of same--the rust will come off with Naval jelly, vinegar, steel wool and elbow grease, and I will have them on my work bench later-- But here's the puzzler- in the package I bought a rust oval cast iron corrugated Bull Press with wooden handle- 8" long by 6" wide and about 1/4" thick- even with the rust I reads Taylor & NG and a 1979 date, a Bull with ring in his nose is on the obverse in relief, well executed and Bull Press is the logo name- I have removed the handle for refinishing, has the Taylor & NG script logo embossed, I may have to sandblast this puppy to bring any light shed would be muchly appreciated indeed.

If it resembles anything like this, the finish may be deliberately rusty looking and not meant for removal. It may be a cooking utensil or ..........

Default No "Bull" Mr. Taylor etc--

The one I have is oval, not rectangular- on the face with the Bull- at top in script is Taylor&NG's and at the bottom is Bull Press- But on the obverse, where the cast iron is corrugated (like an anti-skid foot tread on metal stairs) is is Taylor & NG without any apostrophe after the G in NG and NO letter S-- 1979 date- I have it all cleaned up, shows a nice patina, will use Formby's Tung Oil on it as a preservative- now to find a smallish Bull who needs pressing-
