Only you Michael could come up with that. The answer is no. However, if you round up some of your buds from your home state and come to the shoot I will create a trophy in your honor for the high gun. I am going to call it the "Keystone Krusher" trophy in honor of your fine State. So there you go, come on down and have some fun with us Hoosier boys, and Buckeyes, and Hillbillies, and who knows.

Let the countdown begin, 30 days and counting. As of this morning we have 27 shooters that have registered (RSVP to me) which I take as being positive as most folks have
been busy with the usual summer duties and have not taken the time to register this far in advance. The time is near enough that I need to firm up the plans and get a good handle on the number of shooters so if you plan on attending it would be most appreciated if you could RSVP some time this week. Thanks to all of you that have done so in advance. I am planning on sending out one more email blast just a few days in advance that will include the squadding etc. See you all soon ! |

LAST CALL
Good Morning Everyone:
Hard to believe that we are just days away now and even harder to grasp the weather report. If the Weather Girl is on her A game which is a long shot based upon the available historical data we are going to be blessed with a glorious day for shooting Saturday. Early predictions have us remaining in the high 70s and thankfully dry. As of now we have some 48 shooters signed up. Squads have been pre-arranged and will be posted in the club house. I have been in touch with RST and some other folks so we are able to offer some door prizes this year for a lucky few. As was the plan we will have a shotgun start at 10:00AM. Its not too late to RSVP for those interested in shooting. If you have any eye candy there will be a couple of tables for display items. I encourage you to bring something. Please bring anything you may have for sale or trade. See you all soon !! |

Parting Shots
A second Hoosier Classic is now in the books. Attendance was up this year with 49 shooters present. The weather Gods could not have been kinder as we were dealt with a perfect day. Things went much smoother this year as my preparedness was a little off last year, lessons learned. We had 7 PGCA members present and at least 1 forum associate. The LC Smith gang had 4 members in attendance that I am aware of. Door prizes were able to be offered thanks to RST, Elk Creek Sporting Clays, J&J Liquor, Tri-County Coon Hunters Sporting Clays and the Hoosier SxS Classic.
Jeff Kuss and myself put on a long barreled Parker display. Member Chuck Ziegler had his Ithaca NID 7E and shooter Russ Roeder brought his Fox FE for display. Neals Chop Shop out of Greensburg catered a pulled pork lunch that was excellent. Member Brian Smith's wife Catherine helped with the lunch. Many thanks to her as her help is so much appreciated. After the shooting and lunch everyone hung around for a while to talk guns and look at guns. Of course we had some refreshments and cigars. I will attach a few pics but I must apologize for the lighting in the building, poor place to take gun pictures. Thanks to everyone who attended and helped out !
