Default Ebay find

I recently found this ink or water color on Ebay.
It appears to be the mirror image of the photo of the old gentleman
cleaning his parker shotgun after a hunt.
It is signed Miles Miller 34. Has anyone seen this before?

There was a lot of use of that picture of Mike Stackhouse --

Is the piece represented as an original (in other words not a reproduction). You mention ink or watercolor which suggests an original. It's very hard to tell from the photo. It might be a watercolor and/or gouache (also called in more recent times, designer color) because I can see some indications of opaque paint (watercolor is transparent). I'd be very curious to know if it is indeed an original. The source for the painting/reproducution sure looks to be the model in the photo. It would obviously be reversed if it was, say, a lithograph made from the original.

Do you own the piece and can inspect it closely?

I'd sure like to see it up close (and with a lens). I'm sure it has a unique history. It's a very nice piece and you're lucky to know a bit about it. Thanks for posting it.
