I believe it's a grade 1 Dean. It is identical to 4071, except for I have damascus barrels.
The barrel lug has a T B on it , and nothing about barrel weight. On the frame flat there is an F9R. that's it for markings as far as I can see. Thank you all for the help. |

The F9R stamp is very common on the older Lifters with the right angle (no radius) between the standing breech and the water tables. Unfortunately that is another of the stamps which we don’t know the meaning of.

refinishing Damascus barrels
I have had several Damascus barrels refinished within the past several years and I agree with Dudley, about $500 will be a close approximation the cost assuming there is nothing really wrong with the barrels, 1. e. severe dents, serious pitting, etc.

Back to Original
My Parker was blued years ago which was a good idea inorder to preserve it but it was bad idea for collecting and preserving its value. Who would you recommend to restore it back to original condition or leave it in the condition it's in?

Leave it. No value to be gained due to polished parts, recut and pointed checkering, and wood refinished. Just use it if it is safe. You will be three times its value in the hole to restore it.
