The first four are 26” cases, the fifth one is a 28” case. The 28” case doesn’t appear to have the outer cover or trade label included.

You can instantly identify whether the case is made for a 26” gun or a 28” gun by simply looking at them. The storage compartment in the lower left corner of a 26” case is basically square in shape, the 28” case is rectangular in shape.

And it appears that the 28" is in the worst shape by far. PS. Thanks for the info on the storage compartment size. Was trying to figure it out.

Pictures are worth a thousand words . . .

* 1st pic is a case for a 26" gun, lower left open storage compartment is basically square in shape.
* 2nd pic is a case for a 28" gun, lower left open storage compartment is basically rectangular in shape.

Note: Some 26" Repros were supplied in cases designed for 28” guns, but these will have a block in the barrel channel.

In my opinion, CSMC is a disreputable business concern when it comes to used products .
