Question about muzzle loader

My dad is a big Parker fan and has been collecting for a while.

Recently, he purchased an old SxS muzzle loader percussion cap. The side plates only have the name "Parker" on them and that is about all the markings there are.

He didn't pay a great deal for it, and knows it is only a "wall hanger".

We are curious as to whether or not the gun is actually made by Parker Bros or is a Belgian or English make just of the same name.

Not sure that Parker Bros ever made a muzzle loader.

Parker Bros. only made breech loading shotguns. His "wallhanger" is more likely to be of Belgian origin and imported here by the tens of thousands capitalizing on the "Parker" name.
