Warm weather grouse hunting is tuff. between the bugs, cobwebs, heavy leaf cover, it wears you out quickly--but it sure beats the hell out of work. Congrats for getting out there. Boots will be on the ground in about 18 days for me in the UP. Going for about 17 days.

I’m tickled with your picture of Grason, the pheasant and your Parker. Keep em coming Ted!
I head to Vermont on Thursday evening for grouse and woodcock for three days... pictures will follow. .

Yes Brian it was hot and very muggy here too. By 09:30 Grayson's tongue was hanging out and so was mine! When the mosquitos came out it was time to quit.

I was in Tug Hill Monday the 21th temp was very nice but by Thursday it was getting hot and bugs came out.
