Default Parker top lever with o stamped on frame

Photo is of an 1890 toplever,12 gauge plain grade with capped grip, dhbp, laminated steel bbls ,fish tail toplever on a 1 frame.Barrel was cut to 28 inches at some point. What is the O or zero stamping in the side of the case hardened frame? Is this factory?

I’m not familiar with that stamping. Someone may know more. I like the laminated barrels. Show us some more pics of the gun.

Watch The Andy Griffith Show. Otis may be a clue. Was this gun from North Carolina? Not from the Parker factory.
