Default Opening Day 2022 at our marsh with Nellie

We had a great opener at our marsh in the Montezuma area of NY. Nellie is a happy Lab. Nice weather with a strong SW wind.

Nellie does indeed look happy. You look pretty chipper yourself. Looks like a good day all ‘round.

Do you anticipate a model 11 D , E or F out there this season ?

Most likely I will not use these guns for waterfowl. Normally I switch guns for every hunt, but this year I may mostly shoot the M 21 for waterfowl. Late season ducks will see my Parker DHE 12ga 3 frame and my Super Fox C-HE.

There’s hope for you ! I’d never fired a shot at a duck until I was 60 .
