I don't think it can be done James. I have tried on a few occasions but wind up just asking for the recipient's email address and I simply send attachments to emails.

James,

I just sent you a test PM with a picture in it. I copied the IMG code and used the PM editor to send you the message. The PM has a full screen editor so you can do it easily. Use the insert image icon.

Great! It would be interesting to know if it worked for you - I believe I've tried that before with poor results, but I'm not especially gifted at such things.

Got your PM with the picture Ken - Thanks.

You have to add your picture to your pictures album first. Next copy the picture url from below the picture. Then when in the PM choose the Image icon (yellow square box with mountain) from the menu bar above where you type your message and paste the picture url into the pop up that opens.

Essentially it works the same as adding a picture to a post/reply

Good afternoon James.
I just sent you a pm with an image attached.
Did you get it?

I attached an image to my pm just as if I was attaching an image to a thread reply.
