From a 1901 Remington Arms Co. catalog --
1901 Catalog, pg 10, Remington New Model Double Barrel Shot Gun.jpg1901 Catalog, pg 11, Remington New Model Double Barrel Shot Gun.jpg About 1906, Remington Arms Co. dropped the 32-inch 16-gauge barrels from their double gun offerings. That gun should be sweet on the right Dove pass. I had such a pass near Mt Jackson, Virginia, back in the day and enjoyed it with a 32-inch barrel 16-gauge Ansley H. Fox. |

A friend of mine who is my ffl dealer had this gun in his remington collection for years and I didn't know it.He recently had an auction with about 300 remingtons just a couple months ago.I didn't go thinking everything would go high and now end up buying it at a gun show.I feel I got a good deal on it anyway.Cant be many of these around.Think I'll pay my friend a visit on Monday and see if he misses it.
