Default Parker GHE

I have a Parker 12 gauge, model GHE, serial 205406, which I've owned since 1975, when I inherited it from a great uncle who purchased it in the twenties. I've used the gun only once, soon after getting it, and since then I've oiled in annually and stored it away in its mutton leg case. I can't be certain, but my great uncle, who died at about 100, probably hadn't used the gun for decades.
None of my children want the gun, so I want to sell it. My questions are: how/where do I get a fair valuation and how/where do I sell it to an end user (rather than a re-seller)?
I'm in Massachusetts, on Cape Cod
Thanks,
Rob

Welcome Rob! You can join PGCA and post in our for sale section in the members only section. Forum policy is only members can list guns for sale.

You will have to put a price on it. There are several PGCA members in Massachusetts who would be willing to help you put a fair price on it.

Good luck!

Rob neither the PGCA nor Griffin & Howe have any records for your gun unfortunately. Griffin & Howe have 205405 but not yours, to bad. Best of luck with it.

I live in Andover and I'd be happy to look it over for you.

Actually, you're very close to Dan Cullity's shop in East Sandwich.

Thanks for the quick reply. I'm actually in Marion, just before the Cape, but Sandwich is easy. Can you tell me the name of Dan Cullity's shop?
Thanks,

It's Cullity & Son Restoration

Telephone number 508-888-1147

It's not a walk-in gunshop - you need to call ahead.
