We had a dog that had a similar surgery...and lived to the ripe, old age of 14. Here's hoping you and Star have even more years together.

Yup, bird dogs are tough but they seem to eat anything and for no good reason.
I’m wishing for a speedy recovery! My nephew is a vet there in Woburn. .
