It is a narrow slot to be sure. That's why most of them are buggered. I had to grind my Brownells.

one of the set i have from Brownwells is their narrow slot set
often still need some work to fit - but less than the grinding the normal ones

What Rick said. I also found the Browning A5 set to have what I needed for the hammer screw slot. Cheaper.

Brownell's 300-2 will fit most hammer screws. Some may take a 300-1. Cheers, Tom

Ordering up some now, Looking at the Brownell's Magna Tip selection they sell a pair of small grinding wheels, large and small, right size to hollow grind the bit's too. Just the ticket for dressing one up to exact size. William |
