Default Anybody here buy the Parker pin on ebay?

I followed it for a while with no intention of bidding unless it went cheap; that possibility ended in a hurry. Seemed to have some interesting provenance if it was legit.

I missed that one which is probably just as well. Do you have a picture? Sounds interesting

Never seen that item before. It looks quite modern, maybe a PGCA VIP item.

Pin was available in the early PGCA days. Look in the back of the grey pages for price and order information.

Not a very good pic; kinda small...

According to the seller: "My father was a serious collector of Parker guns. He got this pin from Larry Del Grego."

It brought $189 and change

Is $189.00 a fair result of rarity or is it buyer's lack of knowledge of the market? Are these still available for $38.95?

That would be a hoot. But, you won't have gotten it from Larry Del Grego.

I remember once I bid on a pair of shooting glasses on ebay that went for almost double the price you could still buy them for new. This was back in the day when you saw who the bidders/buyers were. I sent the buyer an email and told him; didn't get a reply though.

The pin was available in sterling silver or gold. We don't know which it was.
Gold would have made it a better buy.

My question was "Is this pin still available for $38.95?" I think Bill Mullins is in charge of Parker paraphernalia. Thanks for posting, Bill.
