West Nile wiped out the crows in this area several years ago. They've recovered somewhat but nothing like they were before the disease.

I'm talking about SE Michigan not SE Ohio. We didn't hardly see a crow around here for two years after a big West Nile outbreak. I picked it up myself from getting bit up by mosquitoes at the gun club. It nearly killed me too, I had a 105 temperature for five days.
