Here is the checkering on a Stub Twist gun in the 90xx serial number range. I'd guess it is a Quality P.

The three-point pattern of the forend checkering would seem to indicate the gun as the forerunner to the grade-2.
The grade 0 and grade 1 had the two-point pattern. .
