Default 1st NH Bird

Our NH spring turkey season opened on May 1st, had a good day., called in 8 birds missed 2 . but did hit the last one. i was using my NH 10 ga. with 32 in barrels choked .038 in both. shooting 1 3/8th oz 6's. This is the 1st turkey i have shot with this gun. bird was 19 lbs with 3/4 inch spurs and a 9 1/2 in beard.

about 35 yds. he just dropped dead with out a wiggle out of him, i never had one do that before.

none of my turkeys I shot ever just dropped they kicked around for a while...now a few deer I shot never even batted a eye.charlie
