Default Worth a look ...

This auction has several nice Parkers, but this one caught my eye.

Are you referring to the AA Pigeon gun owned by duBray?

Now proxybid states a 26% internet premium!!! What the hell is going on with these buyers premiums these days! When 15% was the norm pretty mich everywhere. These companies are going to put themselves right out of business with this garbage.

I wonder what the cost of the hard-cover catalog with 1,000+ pages, was to the auction house and how many were printed.

I wonder how people even get those catalogs anyway. I purchased at the last auction and I never saw one. Maybe I didnt spend enough to get into that club?

I think anyone would be happy to leave a catalog in exchange for a more reasonable BP. Maybe it is just me. Or maybe 26% sales tax is something that people would not mind paying. I know I have a hard enough time getting some people to pay 8%.

I don’t know the answer to that. I didn’t receive a catalog either, though I have done business with Julia’s in the past - granted it was two years ago.

Not all are 26%. Murphy’s and Rock Island are the most expensive. I picked up a sweet little Trojan 20 ga today. You can get some very good deals if you avoid the big firearms only auctions.
