A small auction in Geneva NY
I ask because there was a Parker Pages article that I would send to the buyer

I'm too lazy to research this but what is the difference between 066 and 66. Both are back action guns. Larry, Dave, Edgar, George, and I looked at 66 a few years ago at my SxS shoot. The 66 has a line under the number. Which would be considered earlier?

Serial #066
I have an opportunity to get this gun however have no idea on the value. I am new to this forum. Hope its okay to ask. The gun has a mismatched hammer. The butt stock is not original and was made by someone years ago, the trigger guard was repaired as well. This gun was offered to me today but not sure what someone would or should pay for this gun. It is supposedly the 6th oldest lifter 12B ga Parker. If anyone can give me an idea of value or history it would be appreciated. If these questions are not allowed please feel free to delete this comment. Thanks again for your help

since it just sold two weeks ago- try to find out what the buyer paid for it if he will tell you, expect he will look to make something on the deal
the gun had a fair amount of repairs by Larry Schuknecht who was the seller in the last transaction http://dutchmanwoodworks.com/

Thank you very much. The seller did tell me what he wanted just not sure if its worth it with all the repairs. I know nothing about Parkers but like how the gun looked. Based on photos was hoping someone could give me a close guess on value. Honestly it was the first Parker I had ever seen. Not sure if its better to search for one in better shape or an old one like this.

What do you intend to do with a Parker you buy? The answer to that will help you decide if this is the one you want.
