When I ordered a BHE 0000 frame .410, a ventilated rib was discussed as an option. I offered to accept a prototype vent rib gun if one were available, but I never saw one.

Vent ribs...
Hi Richard....It would be posible for one of the vent rib guns to show up for sale one day...correct? Also 1-26 would be the family and frends guns in 20 ga. ? did they do the other gauges that way also? Did any 30" 12ga. get produced??? Folks will be digging info on the repr's for the next 100 years. That will keep it fun and interesting for us collectors! Thanks Kenny Graft SXS ohio...(-:

No to the first ??? and the factory were fine fitting and tuning and reshaping the "first" batch so I do not think there were any low # guns out there. That was true for all guages. I dont remember if there were any 30" barrels sold but I think some were made but not released. So many questions and so much time has passed it is all getting a little fogy for us to remember and all the records were ruined in The Floyd flood.
